Want to trade my 32bit version for your 64bit version
A 64 bit pci slot is longer than a 32 bit pci slot. Some 64 bit cards can be used in 32 bit slots. Check with vendor for details. Yup, you are correct. I just did a search for '32 bit' and found the answer in the manual. Interesting that the 64 bit slots are longer. I've built a lot of systems, and looked at a lot

The responses I have recieved indicate that 64bit refers to memory addressing/pointer sizes. All MIPS CPUs from the R4000 onward can operate on 64 bit integers, 64 bit floating point values, and 64 bit pointers. [The R4000 itself was a bit broken for some of the pointer operations, by the way, but all the ones

Thanks for your answer; Which system is an 64Bit system? I know that Xeon is an 64Bit processor and Intel E7505 Chipset Includes 64Bit PCI slots. The Xeon is NOT a 64 bit system. Yes, the E7505 supports 64bit PCI slots, but this has no bearing on the processor. To run 64 bit windows you need a 64 bit processor.

NET are neither 32bit nor 64bit. They are IL. My understanding is: When you run on a 32bit processor (32bit version of the Framework really) the Framework JIT will create 32bit specific code. When you run on a 64bit processor (64bit version of the Framework really) the Framework JIT will create 64bit specific code.
